Jeanne Hartley

Jeanne Hartley, MSOD, has been a Learning and Organization Development practitioner for over 25 years.  Working in a myriad of industries, including high-tech, bio-medical, manufacturing, sales, service and non-profit, she helps improve individual, team and organizational performance.

Working with individuals, Jeanne provides custom one-on-one leadership coaching that is uniquely tailored to the individual leader. She helps her clients identify strategic development goals and concrete actions while providing support, feedback and advice to help them achieve desired levels of professional and organizational success.

Jeanne is an experienced adult focused training and development specialist. Her work includes assessing organizational and individual training needs designing, developing and delivering performance based training programs. Jeanne teaches and coaches other trainers through her train-the-trainer course.

In her work with teams, Jeanne uses her team building, facilitation and process consulting skills to work with team leaders and members to identify specific team development objectives; she custom designs and facilitates the right team interventions to help teams be more effective, motivated and productive.

At the organizational level, Jeanne conducts culture assessments, identifies issues, makes recommendations and helps to implement chosen solutions. She specializes in facilitating and implementing strategic planning efforts, change management initiatives such as employee engagement programs and performance improvement efforts.    She has lead large scale initiatives such as learning and development, mentoring, on-boarding and performance management systems.

In her consulting practice she has worked with organizations across a wide spectrum of industries, including Amgen, Genentech, Medtronic, Baxter Healthcare, American Medical Response Western Digital, City of Pasadena District Attorney’s Office, The Orange County Rapid Transit Authority, , THQ Inc, Park Water Company, DTS, , Brinks, Inc., Fox Entertainment, Los Angeles Unified School District, Cal State Northridge, SAG-AFTRA, and Disneyland.  Her non-profit practice has included organizations such as; The Children’s Bureau of Southern California, The Girl Scouts, Pat Brown Foundation, Community Partners, Project Angel Food, and others.

Prior to starting her consulting practice, she worked as an internal manager where she led the Training and Organization Development functions and teams for The Los Angeles Times, Centinela Hospital and The Daily News of Los Angeles.

Jeanne received her Master’s of Science in Organizational Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University. She is part-time faculty at Antioch University and Cal State Northridge where she teaches Organizational Development, Team Building / Group Dynamics, Interpersonal Communications, Conflict Management and Negotiations to graduate and undergraduate students.
